Peter joined ERP in October 2024 as a soil scientist based at the Center for Ecosystem Restoration which facilitates ERP operations in Kenya. He holds a PhD in Soil Microbial Ecology from the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences, an MSc in Soil Ecology and a BSc in Microbiology from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology. During his PhD, he worked on dynamics of soybean rhizosphere microbiomes under the influence of different fertilization regimen. Leveraging his knowledge of Kenya’s soils and agricultural systems, Peter is passionate about advancing ERP’s mission to make soil health data accessible and affordable for the benefit of farmers and humanity at large.
