Research scientist - Seismology

We seek a seismologist (post-PhD) with expertise in inverse methods, uncertainty quantification and machine learning. The tasks are to collaborate within our seismology team, leading further developments for seismic and geophysical inference. This includes uncertainty quantification and automation for our large, in-house collected datasets for soil structures from around the world. The datasets are primarily seismic, but will also include other geophysical data, conventional soil data, remote sensing and farmer knowledge.
